Just returned from another relaxing break. Weather was great and everything about the lodge was spot on as usual. Booked again for next April for another week (6th time) of fishing and exploring the surrounding area. Staff are all very helpful and the fishing exceptional.

Got last minute deal yesterday for one night for myself and my husband stayed in Britannia petit very clean every you needed was there towels bedding cups cutlery utensils all bathroom toiletries there also and little welcome basket with tea coffee milk sugar and biscuits in. The bed was made up with towels made like Sean’s lovely touch bed super comfy loved the hot tub 😍
The only thing I would say that let it down was the shower pressure not great and water coming out of shower head was not hot was not even Luke warm and the did not match the lovely bathroom.
Had a lovely evening and morning definitely be back.

Another wonderful stay at our home away from home. We have been visiting now every February for 20 years and never tire of Yellowtop. We come in Feb as a couple but also like to share this anazing place with family and with friends at other times during the year. Every visit has been relaxed in a lovely, quiet, tranquil setting surrounded by nature with beautiful views over the fishing lake. Having a hot tub to relax in after a day's exploring is amazing. Hubby loves the fishing and always catches plenty. The staff are friendly and helpful and the lodge has everything required for a comfortable stay. Our favourite has to be lodge 2. This year we stayed in lodge 3, as we visited with our dog for the first time. She loved it here too. She enjoyed the walks down to the village along the old rail line. We cannot wait to return again

My friends and I visit every year for a get together to go to the Christmas market at York, great location, beautiful comfortable lodges and love the hot tubs. We used Harvest 13 this time, the only concern we had was it was there was no light at the corner of the lodge and there’s steps that were difficult to see. Otherwise again a brilliant weekend and have booked again. Would definitely recommend

Love coming to Yellowtop! Always visit for a relaxation and reset few days, surroundings are peaceful, you’re not bothered by anybody (except the quacking ones!!). Lodges are beautiful, clean and well equipped with everything you need. We don’t tend to venture far but there are some beautiful places to eat close by if you wanted to. Beautiful surroundings, easy to find, and stunning all round.

This was our 4th stay at YT and we have had one stay at still rabbits. Everything is amazing, I’m not one to keep going back to places but even just one night is enough to recharge the batteries of a hectic mum life. Already planning 2 stays for 2026. Gutted to leave every time. Even though it is colder now and the fish are feeding more on the bottom, we still pulled dozens out. Love love love
